Job Description Summary
The Operational Effectiveness team plays a vital role in delivering Lloyds Banking Group's vision of putting customers at the heart of everything we do, supporting the transition to a net zero carbon economy, taking care of vulnerable customers, and building the bank of the future.
We’re responsible for shaping the Consumer Relationships Chief Operating Office (CR COO) future service model, working with internal and outsource partners to deliver seamless journeys and next generation digital solutions whilst maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service.

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly qualified Senior Manager to help us shape, run and redefine customer journeys internally and with our outsource partners. You'll role model thought leadership, using your insight and credibility to unpack complex problem statements and develop innovative solutions using people and technology.

* Interlock with Business and Platform teams to understand digital and automation backlogs.
* Deep dive and classify business processes, creating triage systems to explore simplification, digitisation and automation opportunities.
* Deploy lean six sigma practices to lead, co-ordinate and mentor business units on the transformation of business processes.
* Cease, optimise and re-engineer manual processes to deliver efficient solutions.
* Demonstrate strong digital advocacy and leverage influence to drive automation agenda.
* Complete market scanning to understand innovations and leverage insights.
* Develop a team of colleagues, using our leadership framework to drive development and build a culture of support.
What you’ll need
* A strategic approach with a passion for thought leadership and innovation.
* Strong business knowledge and experience of re-engineering manual processes through automation.
* Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing complex change initiatives.
* Experience within a Platform or Transformation team, understanding customer journeys and Agile methodology.
* Collaboration skills to engage and influence senior executives.
* Familiarity with the UK financial services and supplier sectors.
* Strong risk management capabilities.
