We are now recruiting a Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, a transformational leader, someone who wants to make a genuine difference to cancer patients, and is ready to rise to the challenge of leading one of the most successful fundraising teams across the North West, could this be you? The Role We are looking for an experienced Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager, someone with strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, to develop and grow a sustainable philanthropy programme. Duties will include: Proactively creating and implementing a comprehensive strategy to increase fundraising from major donors, corporates, and trusts and foundations. Leading and supporting a team of five, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and achieving budget targets. Collaborating with senior management, clinical teams and board members to support fundraising initiatives and cultivate high-value donor relationships. Planning and executing events that maximise income across all philanthropic income streams. Acting as a representative of the charity to high-net-worth individuals and organisations, facilitating introductions and engagement. The Person To be considered for this role you should come to us with significant major gifts, corporate or trust fundraising experience and an understanding of philanthropic fundraising techniques. Strong negotiating and networking skills, with the ability to build valuable partnerships and secure major gifts, is essential to achieving success in this role. You should also have excellent oral and written communication skills in order to effectively convey the charity's mission. You should have demonstrable experience of supervising others, mentoring and developing a senior team and possess strong leadership skills. With an exceptional ability to develop relationships at all levels, you should be able to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders and colleagues. Why The Christie?
