Role Overview: As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and delivering infrastructure projects, specifically in the areas of bridges and structural design. Your work will span both highways and rail sectors, allowing you to manage a variety of exciting and challenging projects. You will also have the chance to mentor junior team members while working closely with the client to deliver projects that meet and exceed expectations. Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design and delivery of bridge and structural projects in line with relevant industry standards.
Manage infrastructure projects in highways and rail, collaborating with clients and key stakeholders.
Provide leadership and guidance to your team, driving them to achieve optimal project outcomes.
Take responsibility for structural inspections and contribute to the construction process, ensuring methodologies and practices are followed.
Play an active role in supporting the local management team in both office and client development.Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in delivering bridges and structural design projects to the relevant standards.
At least 5 years of experience working on infrastructure projects, with a focus on highways and/or rail, and familiarity with client processes.
A strong desire to take on a leadership role and motivate your team to achieve the best results.
Previous site experience, including structural inspections and understanding of the construction process.
Ability to get 'stuck in' technically and take responsibility for the delivery of projects.
A proactive approach to supporting the growth of the office and the development of the client base.Desirable Skills:
Experience working with local authority projects and a clear understanding of their processes.
Familiarity with asset management procedures.
Temporary works design experience.
Exposure to other engineering disciplines.Qualifications:
