In this pivotal role, youll play a key part in the early stages of residential development projects : preparing full development budgets, cost estimates, and financial models from pre:land acquisition through to final budget approval. Youll collaborate cross:functionally, driving key decisions that impact land acquisition and pre:construction success.

What Youll Be Doing:
*
Prepare development budgets, estimates, and cashflows from pre:acquisition through to pre:construction stages.
*
Assess abnormal costs, risks, and opportunities, ensuring these are captured in financial models and cost planning.
*
Collaborate with Planning, Technical, Sales, and Construction teams to review and update specifications and cost assumptions.
*
Create house type cost libraries and feasibility packs to support land appraisals.
*
Update and refine construction budgets through planning and technical evolution.
*
Coordinate the production of final budget packs ahead of project handover to commercial delivery teams.
What Our Client Is Looking For:
*
Experience in a similar Estimator role, ideally within the housebuilding or residential construction sector.
*
Strong working knowledge of Estimating, Surveying, and cost modelling processes.
*
Familiarity with JCT or NEC Contracts.
*
Excellent analytical and organisational skills.
*
A proactive and collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail.
