Treasury Assistant Hybrid - Home/Darlington We are looking for a Treasury Assistant to join the team that are responsible for reconciling bank statements, recording payments and receipts on a number of client accounts. Job title: Treasury Assistant Job Description: What will you be doing: Recording and processing of daily bank receipts from account statements Receive, record and processing cheque receipts for all clients Preparing and posting journals for receipts in relevant systems Updating the member records with receipts in relevant systems Liaising with Finance and Pension Operation Teams Ensure that all FCA CASS operational processes and controls are carried out on a timely basis Prepare client treasury reports and reconciliations as required Process complaints at the earliest opportunity with a positive attitude, addressing the true root cause and implementing effective corrective action in order to prevent re-occurrence Identify and report risks and breaches immediately to your line manager and/or the Operational Risk and Compliance Department What are we looking for: Essential Accounting Knowledge Can demonstrate interpretation of bank statements Experience of Accounting software packages Experience of working in an accounts department Communication skills Use of Outlook and Word for writing letters and email Excel skills Able to sort, filter and organise data and produce easily readable spreadsheets Desirable Understanding the various types of pension schemes and terminology Experience of working in a Treasury team About Capita Pension Solutions At Capita Pension Solutions (CPS) we continue to grow and evolve our Strategy & Product function.
