We’re seeking an exceptional Sales Manager to steer our vibrant sales team. As an integral part of our management, your expertise will drive the future growth of our business by crafting and executing advanced sales strategies and leading a robust sales team.
Location:
Telford, Shropshire.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets
2. Manage, grow and lead a team of sales representatives
3. Provide guidance and support to the sales team in order to enhance their performance
4. Monitor sales activities and provide regular reports to upper management
5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and customers
6. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalise on them
7. Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
8. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and finance, to ensure alignment of goals and objectives
Requirements:
1. Proven experience in a similar sales environment within the food industry, preferably in a managerial role
2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
3. Excellent knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
4. Experience supervising a sales team is highly desirable
5. Proficient in administrative tasks, such as creating reports and analysing data
6. Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills, both written and verbal
7. Be open to travel, to destinations in the UK and Europe
8. Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
