Job Description
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team. You will work in partnership with other agencies to deliver high-quality care and support for children in a residential setting. Your role will involve contributing to individual care plans, risk assessments, and maintaining accurate records, ensuring children are safeguarded and their emotional and physical needs are met. You will create a nurturing and structured environment that promotes safety, well-being, and educational development while supporting children to build life skills and independence.
As a key worker, you will help young people achieve positive outcomes, ensuring their views and wishes are considered. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean and safe home, preparing nutritious meals, managing risks, and supporting children through trauma and challenging behaviors. The role requires flexibility, including sleep-in duties on a rota basis, working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
