A truly outstanding opportunity for a high calibre Private Client Lawyer / Partner to join this boutique practice that services high net worth individuals from across the Lake District & London. They have a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Associate or Partner to join their team with a clear pathway to becoming a Director in the short term. This position can offer:
* Clear pathway to being a Director
* Excellent Salary
* HNW & UHNW Client Base
* Unrivalled quality of work
Due to the calibre of work in place, this would suit an experienced Lawyer with a Legal 500 background and comfortable dealing with a broad range of HNW individuals and their families, family offices, private banks, trustees, and wealth managers. Experience of advising landed families and the owners of rural property and heritage property would be useful (not essential), due to the location.
This practice has considerable experience in a broad range of private client matters involving all aspects of estate and succession planning. Clients include:
* UK and international individuals, their families, and trustees.
* UK entrepreneurs, business owners, and high net worth individuals, as well as non-UK domiciliary.
* Corporate and individual trustees, both UK and non-UK residents.
Headcount is small and turnover of staff is minimal, so you will be joining an extremely settled team with significant experience. The main task of this role will be to form relationships with the existing client base to ensure a smooth transition when the existing Directors look to step back. Client care is of utmost importance as they are constantly generating work based on their reputation and referrals; they even have 3rd & 4th generation families that have been instructing the business.
The pathway to becoming Director (and equity) will be discussed and a clear timeline will be set from Day 1, with autonomy provided also. This firm is a very traditional practice and is rooted in a 'quality over quantity' approach, which has proven a successful strategy for the business.
Salary is open for discussion but will start at a minimum of £80,000 with scope for this to be higher for the right individual. Equity can be offered after a period of time working in the business. There is a flexible working/hybrid policy and a grown-up approach that allows people to drop in and out of the office when needed.
