Support Worker / Personal Assistant Required – Forest of Bowland area, near Clitheroe
A young female adult with autism and anxiety requires support to access the community, practice her (Christian) faith, and participate in hobbies and activities. No personal care is involved, and there are no behavioural issues to manage.
Responsibilities:
1. Support the individual in community access and activities.
2. Encourage participation in hobbies and faith practices.
Qualifications:
1. Previous experience of working with adults with autism or anxiety is beneficial.
2. A patient, kind, and understanding approach to build a caring working relationship is essential.
3. You MUST have a full, clean driving licence and access to a car which can be used for the role.
4. An interest in animals, art, and crafts would be ideal.
Work Hours:
There are up to 11 hours per week during term time, and up to 20 hours a week in the school holidays available. During term time, the hours will usually include one weekday evening and one full day at the weekend. During school holidays, hours and days worked can be varied and flexible to suit mutual needs.
