Day to day duties include -To help in the preparation and completion of activities to suit the child’s stage of developmentWashing and changing children s requiredProvide comfort and warmth to all childrenTo ensure the provision of high quality environment to meet the needs of the individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds and stages of development To contribute a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children placed in the nursery Support all staff and engage in a good staff teamTo be flexible within the working practices of the nursery To assist in keeping records of achievement on file for parents Qualifications RequiredMaths and English GCSE Grade C / 4 is preferablePrevious Childcare experience or qualifications are preferable but not a necessity Skills RequiredArrive at work on time, fit and ready to workCarry out all duties expected of you from your job description carefully and well, to the standard set by your managerDedicate your time, skills and attention during your working hours Future ProspectsOn completion of the 15 month apprenticeship program, depending on performance and availability, you may be offered a full time role or the chance to train to higher level of qualification.
