We are currently seeking a dynamic Teaching Assistant to join a school in Clitheroe on a long-term basis, starting after Easter break. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment. Day-to-day of the role: Support classroom activities, including working with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning material. Assist in preparing lesson materials and resources under the direction of the lead teacher. Monitor and support the progress of students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous but not essential. Help maintain discipline in the classroom and manage student behaviour. Participate in and support the organisation of school events and activities. Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behaviour. Required Skills & Qualifications: Must hold a Level 2 qualification Recent and relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in providing learning support at KS1 and KS2 levels. Demonstrated ability to be reliable, committed, and act as a good role model for students. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be trustworthy, patient, and confident when working with children. Benefits: High-quality training and support.
