Durham DAN is seeking a Domestic Abuse Navigator to empower clients experiencing complex challenges, including domestic abuse, homelessness, and social exclusion. As a Domestic Abuse Navigator, you will play a vital role in offering high-quality, integrated support to clients fleeing domestic abuse. You will manage a caseload of individuals, offering high-quality support tailored to their individual circumstances. We're seeking a self-motivated, solution-focused individual who thrives both independently and as part of a team. If you have: Experience of advocacy and providing support to individuals and families affected by Domestic Abuse. Good interpersonal skills including listening and the ability to display empathy. Working knowledge of welfare benefits and housing benefits. An awareness of GDPR and the need for confidentiality when dealing with personal information. Access to a car for work purposes and hold a full current UK driving licence.
