Job summary Senior Clinical Fellow in Trauma and Orthopaedics is required to commence from 06 August 2025 to work alongside 16 existing SPRs who support the Trauma and Orthopaedic Directorate. The successful candidates will be based at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital. They will be expected to provide middle grade cover for clinical sessions and be on call for trauma along with the specialist trainees. Trauma services are provided at the University Hospital of Wales with a dedicated trauma theatre. The University Hospital of Wales is a busy trauma centre and provides tertiary referral service for spinal trauma, pelvic and acetabular trauma and complex limb trauma. The Elective service is based at Llandough Hospital and is one of the busiest orthopaedic centres in the UK with over 10,000 orthopaedic operations performed in the last financial year.
