Job Title: Senior Project Manager – MAJOR CAPITAL EXPERIENCE
Salary: DOE (£70-£90k plus car allowance)
Location of Role: Home/Project site based UK WIDE (Hybrid, with a priority on site works)
Overview of the Project Manager
Forsyth Barnes are partnering with an exciting company looking to expand the team, bringing in an Enthusiastic & Passionate Senior Project Manager.
The key aim of this role is to Develop & Manage projects and other technical assignments from conception to completion. The Ideal candidate will have experience of successful project development/project delivery of in an EPC/EPCm environment, preferably in the EfW, BESS or Industrial sector (desirable but not essential).
This is an exciting role with a route of progression to it for someone who wants longevity. Working closely with the Deputy CEO you will become a vital part of the team.
The company consults, engineers, constructs, and operates - providing solutions in all parts of the project life cycle. Its core strength is providing practical solutions to ensure projects are configured, progressed and move over the investment decision point line, before then moving them through construction and commissioning into sustained operation.
Becoming a vital member of the team means you will be held accountable for delivering these Projects on time.
Please note, due to the nature of project work, there will be times where you will be required to work away. This will be fully covered by the company.
Role and Responsibilities
* Lead as an example to the Project team working alongside and supporting the project Director
* Develop projects from initial stage, managing contracts and contract schedules for a variety of forms of contract from the Client contractual position

* Be able to integrate into a client’s team in order to act on their behalf
* Manage project commercial elements when necessary & project teams to ensure delivery of scope
* Cost tracking & Cost forecasting for projects
* CAPEX and OPEX development for projects
* Cost estimating & Project systems development
* Management of projects in accordance with CDM Regs 2015 (2020)
* Involvement in commercial negotiations
* Involvement in package management and specification and scope management for projects

* An Engineering background, educated to degree level in a technical subject, although relevant experience will be considered
* Experience Managing Major Capital Projects
* EPC / EPCM experience is highly desirable
