Further details about the role
Asquith Primary School is a thriving and vibrant, one and a half form entry Community Primary School and nursery in Mansfield. Following the retirement of our headteacher after 22 years at the school, the governors are seeking to appoint an experienced and inspirational leader to join our school community.
Asquith Primary School is a friendly and inclusive place where staff work hard to meet the needs of all of our children. We want our children to achieve their full potential; be safe and happy and feel confident to try out new skills and “have a go” even if they find it difficult.
The successful applicant will embody our values and ethos, placing children and families at the heart of all they do and fostering a strong sense of community. They will build on the school’s strengths, bringing an energy and drive to further develop and deliver the school vision and strategic direction. Our new headteacher will lead an experienced team who are dedicated to helping every child fulfil their potential.
The support and involvement of parents, carers and the communities we serve is invaluable and we seek to work in partnership to ensure the best possible outcomes for all our children.
The Governing Body on behalf of the school community is committed to finding a new headteacher who will:
• be an inspirational leader;
• put our children at the centre of all they do;
• build on the school’s strengths;
• bring energy and drive to developing and delivering the school’s vision and strategic direction.
Candidates are warmly invited to visit the school to personally experience our work and ethos. To arrange a visit please contact: Caroline Evans, Office Manager – 01623 454969
