Sales Manager (Medical Diagnostics)

This opportunity is for a talented Sales Manager to join us, based in London, managing both established and prospective markets. Location: Onsite, London, UK (Boston House, W1T 6EY)
Contract Offered: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours / Shifts: 40 hours per week.
What does this role involve?
This role will focus on driving our market expansion plans while also delivering across our existing sales targets via effective distributor management. The successful candidate will also build and manage a high performing sales team, with the expectation of coaching and regular customer visits with your team.
1. Developing and implement market expansions for a diverse product portfolio to increase sales.
2. Negotiating with senior stakeholders and implementing growth strategies.
3. Direct management of a sales team: Sales Executives, Tele Sales, Sales Support etc
4. Recruit, train and develop the Sales team to exceptional Sales/Business Development Executives and Team Leads.
5. Management of key accounts and distributors.
6. Accurately forecast and deliver on monthly/quarterly sales revenue targets.
7. Liaising with other internal departments such as Logistics, Marketing, Finance, QA etc
8. Attend industry specific seminars and exhibitions as required.
9. Regular travel to visit customers (30% travel)
Who can apply?
Essential criteria:
10. Minimum 5 years of sales experience, including 2-3 years managing commercial teams.
11. Relevant industry experience would be ideal (Medical Diagnostics, Life Science, Biotech) but not essential.
12. Proven track record of leading and growing commercial teams.
13. Someone who can implement best practices to foster and lead internal partnerships with the focus on customers.
14. Skilled in managing and coaching through the full sales cycle.
15. Bachelor's degree
16. Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
17. Life Science degree or medical sales background.
18. Face to Face/Field based sales experience.
19. Stable work history showing progression.
