They are seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger clerk to join them on a temporary basis with the view of going permanent for the right candidate. Job Description
As a Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for:
3. Accurately processing and paying invoices in a timely manner.
4. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies.
5. Preparing and processing BACS payments.
6. Managing petty cash transactions.
7. Assisting with month-end procedures.
8. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
9. Responding to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
10. Working collaboratively with the rest of the Accounting & Finance team.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
11. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
12. Experience with accounting software.
13. Strong numerical and analytical skills.
14. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
