We’re seeking an Accounts Manager to join a growing accountancy practice with a reputation for providing high-quality services to a wide range of clients. As part of ongoing expansion, we are looking for an ACA or ACCA qualified Accounts Manager to manage and develop a small, talented group of professionals.

What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management accounts, and tax returns for a diverse portfolio of clients.
2. Lead, mentor, and manage a small team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
3. Review and ensure the accuracy and compliance of all financial reporting in line with UK accounting standards.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering strategic advice to support their business growth.
5. Assist with business development and support the firm’s growth by identifying new opportunities.
6. Manage client expectations, ensuring deadlines are met, and high standards of service are consistently maintained.
What We’re Looking For:
1. ACA or ACCA qualified with recent experience in a UK accountancy practice.
2. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a small team.
3. A solid understanding of UK accounting standards and tax regulations.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
5. A proactive, solution-focused approach to tax planning and problem-solving.
6. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
