Technical Manager North Yorkshire c.£60k Benefits · 33 days holiday including bank holidays · Company Pension Technical Manager for an established food business, based in North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will ensure food produced is safe, legal, and in line with all legal and customer requirements. Reporting to the Managing Director, responsibilities for the role will include: · Managing all Technical aspects of the Production Site and drive quality standards to the highest level · Maintaining BRC Grade for the site · Developing, training, motivating and managing the technical staff to ensure the highest quality standards are met · Management of customer complaints and reduction of complaints · Developing HACCP systems and Risk Assessments · Managing Technical budget · Implementing all Technical KPI’s · Writing, developing and implementing policies to meet all current and new EU and UK legislation Essential / Desirable skills include: · Technical experience in a food manufacturing business, ideally with a complex product · Good knowledge of and experience in HACCP, BRC and food legislation. · HACCP Level 4 qualification desirable. · Previous Technical Management experience is essential The Company: · Award winning product range · State of the art manufacturing facilities · Customer focused The working hours for the role Mon - Fri, 45hrs per week, office hours with flexibility to start / finish earlier or later as required.
