Sales Account Manager - Leading consumer brand

Our partner is a leading London-based creative brand that supplies its trend-led ranges to leading retailers globally. They are looking for a new Account Manager to work with a growing portfolio of international brands which they represent in the UK.
You will look after a selection of their leading retail customers including key accounts, independent stores and online retailers. You must be positive, energetic and enjoy forming strong relationships with your customers. You must also be happy being client facing; working at trade events and business development.
Duties and responsibilities as Sales Account Manager will include:
1. Providing an excellent service to your portfolio of customers; being present, efficient knowledgeable and reliable.
2. Maximising the revenue of your customers by working with the buyers on range selection.
3. Advising on visual merchandising to increase sales and sell through rates.
4. Visiting with larger customers from your account base to discuss new and existing ranges with them.
5. Seeking new customers and working on leads acquired at UK trade shows and through other channels.
6. Handling all order processing and customer service related to your accounts and the Brands you represent.
7. Liaising with the represented Brands to stay up-to-date on product, stock, and other news.
8. Collaborate with the Brand's internal sales team to leverage market-specific strategies.
9. Provide the Brands with monthly report on sales performance and customer feedback.
10. Negotiation of all account pricing, terms and conditions to attain company target margin.
11. Working with the Director on project-based marketing / sales campaigns and new initiatives.
12. Attendance at all relevant company meetings and company trade shows.
Experience and requirements for this Account Manager role:
1. Experience of working directly with retail buyers at Account Manager level.
2. 3+ years of experience in wholesale sales.
3. An appreciation of good design.
4. Excellent telephone manner, good vocabulary and literacy skills.
5. Good face-to-face skills and strong organisation skills.
6. Sociable with a good sense of humour and will have examples of where you have gone the extra mile for the greater good of the company.
