Job Summary
As a Senior Project Manager within AECOM’s London Project Management Team, you will be responsible for leading and managing medium to large-scale built environment and construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring their successful delivery while continuing to develop your specialised knowledge. You will oversee significant phases of projects, guide junior team members, and foster client and consultant relationships. Additionally, you will support business development activities and contribute to AECOM's team and organisational growth.
We are looking for an experienced Fit-Out Project Manager to oversee and deliver high-quality interior fit-out projects from inception to completion. You should have a proven track record in managing commercial fit-out projects, focusing on stakeholder management, quality, cost control, and timely delivery. You will manage project teams, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring all works are carried out in line with client requirements, budgets, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and Deliver: Drive project delivery on our project management commissions to meet time, budget, and quality requirements.
2. Client-Centric Excellence: Strengthen client relationships by delivering exceptional service and aligning project outcomes with client objectives.
3. Team Leadership and Development: Mentor and support junior members of our team in their career development.
4. Industry Engagement and Growth: Support bids and business development activities, engage with industry forums and networking events.
Skills and Experiences
1. Experience and technical knowledge in project management within the built environment or construction industry.
2. Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
3. Demonstrate leadership potential and good client relationship management.
4. Passionate about delivering high-quality consulting services.
5. Proactive, solution-oriented and adaptable to changing circumstances.
6. Ability to support the development of colleagues towards professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB, APM).
Qualifications
Professional accreditation (e.g. RICS, CIOB, APM) achieved or commitment to achieve one.
