Wage
£14,722.50 a year
Salaries are reviewed annually in April, if there is a change in government legislation or a change of role.

Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm. There is the option of starting at 8.30am, Monday and Tuesday, to allow a 4.00pm finish on a Friday.

Work
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Ownership of your learning journey by participating in classes, workshops and self-directed learning modules within the prescribed timescales.
* Attending all pre-arranged training sessions and exam sessions.
* Supporting the processing of purchase ledger and sales ledger invoicing, credit control, bank reconciliations, petty cash and expenses.
* Liaising with internal staff, customers and suppliers to ensure the accurate collation of purchase orders, receipts, invoices and payments.
* Collating financial reports as requested.
* Any other duties which may arise.

* Record transactional data.
* Use the organisation’s standard tools and processes to examine data to identify transactional issues such as, reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices.
* Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
* Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
* Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods with an appreciation of the risks and benefits to the business of social media and other digital applications.
* Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data to contribute to routine accounting tasks.
* Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.

Your training plan
* Formal training will be delivered virtually with the support of the internal team to gain the relevance experience and support to apply the learnings.
More training information
* Training will include 1-2 hour online sessions weekly plus access to an online platform designed to put the theory into practice – group sessions with other learners.
* 6 weekly one to one coaching (learner and college) – to ensure they are up to date with learning, portfolio development, exam prep and revision guidance.
* 3 monthly meetings with learner and line manager to ensure the learner is on track, agree additional support and next 3 month plan, etc.
* Regular check-ins with internal and group teams to support the journey.
