Main duties of the job Due to maternity leave of the existing post holder the Major Trauma Centre (MTC) has an exciting opportunity to recruit a part time / fixed term Major Trauma Education coordinator and admin team leader. Secondment will be considered with the existing line managers agreement. This role is pivotal in coordinating and organising the varied Major Trauma Education, including, but not limited to; UHS Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Wessex Trauma Network (WTN) European Trauma Course (ETC), numerous WTN paediatric education events. The successful candidate will work closely with the course directors, the Education leads, the MTC and WTN senior leadership teams, with the wider MTC and WTN leads and the MTC office at UHS. The successful candidate will need to possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills and be IT literate on all MS office systems. The ability to work independently, bring personal motivation, energy and a desire for success to the position is essential. This role also offers support to the WTN / MTC administrator.
