Job Summary
The successful candidate would:
1. Join a committed leadership team, working closely and effectively with the Head of Service and Operational Lead.
2. Contribute to service development and innovation and ongoing service improvement.
3. Provide clinical oversight to support therapists from various clinical backgrounds.
4. Support in screening and triage of referrals.
5. Undertake initial consultations with families and social workers.
6. Be part of leadership team meetings, including considering referrals and allocation of cases.
7. Provide regular supervision and support to associate and employed practitioners.
8. Offer consultation, supervision and training in house and externally.
9. Be part of the quality assurance team.
10. Maintain a small caseload.
11. Contribute to the recruitment and induction of new members of the team.
12. Contribute to the development of online training, resources and website materials.
Main Duties of the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our experienced and committed team as Clinical Lead for the Adoption Support and Trauma Service.
This is a permanent employed position, based in Leeds or Harrogate.
30 to 37.5 hours per week, salary £54,000 to £62,000 wte depending on experience.

Person Specification
1. A core therapeutic qualification. We welcome applications from a wide range of relevant clinical disciplines including Psychologists, Creative Therapists, Psychotherapists etc.
2. Registration with HCPC, UKCP or equivalent governing body.
3. A minimum of 5 years post-qualification clinical experience.
4. A minimum of two years in a leadership role with experience of providing supervision and/or management to other practitioners.
5. Experience of contributing to service development and strategic decision making.
6. Experience of working with families with complex trauma and young people whose presentations include high risk and complexity.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including making complex information accessible to clients of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
8. An interest in research would be an advantage, as would experience working with neurodiversity.
