Join our team at Keolis Amey Metrolink (KAM), the largest light rail network in the UK!
We are currently recruiting for Tram Drivers to join the team, driving our fleet of iconic Metrolink trams, helping us keep our customers across Greater Manchester moving.
Whether you’re wanting to learn new skills or looking for a career change, there's a role here for you. You will be joining a team committed to delivering exceptional service and caring about what they do.
We are looking for motivated, customer-focused, and safety-conscious individuals to join us. Applications from everyone with the necessary skills are welcome; you don’t need tram driving experience to apply for this role.
Metrolink has a strong commitment to valuing the diversity of our colleagues, and we particularly welcome female candidates for our Driver role due to under-representation in this position.
Training:
Metrolink is committed to the professional development of our people. You will receive support and on-the-job training, setting you up for success and helping you build your career with us.
As a new Driver, your first twelve weeks will be attending our driver training programme, which includes gaining insightful knowledge on the role, meeting the team, practical assessments, safety training, written exams, and simulator training.
To ensure you get the best out of the new starter training programme, full attendance during this period is required. As part of the recruitment process, we will need to understand if you have any prior holidays or commitments before starting in the role.
The next training programme start date is: Monday 10 March 2025
