Job Description
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability and essential duties required to successfully perform this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
1. Operates punch press in the assembly operation.
2. Positions part manually with components into nests.
3. Accurately completes all production paperwork including job cards and tally sheets.
4. Boxes and labels finished parts.
5. Takes individual responsibility for all aspects of part quality to provide TEIJIN AUTOMOTIVE with the product that conforms to both quality and function requirements.
6. Submits ideas to promote continuous improvement, emphasizing defect prevention, and the reduction of variation and waste.
7. Uses and follows procedures and work instructions pertinent to tasks assigned.
8. A physical presence is required at the plant location(s).
9. Supports and exemplifies corporate values and commitment to quality, optimism, ownership, teamwork, and communication.
10. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following 5S, safety, and environmental standards.
11. Responsible for quality of part produced per the operator instructions.
12. Know, understand, utilize and follow IATF 16949 and/or ISO 14001 procedures.

EDUCATION
High school diploma or GED.
One to three years of related experience.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic computer skills.
