Your new role As the Graduate Highways Engineer your will assist with technical, organisation and supervisory input across various projects. Your day to day will comprise of: Understanding of setting out and as-built surveys for installation Reviewing installation drawings and providing instruction to site erection team Quality assurance management Producing and checking Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Construction Phase Plans Producing works programmes and liaising with contractors to ensure programme dates are met Liaising and facilitating relationships with designers, contractors, stakeholders and client Advising designers on buildability of designs Managing all permits and approvals for the project Assisting in resolving site/construction issues Arranging and chairing progress meetings with contractors Ensuring workforce adhere to H&S and Environmental rules About you With work continuing to roll in, this family run outfit needs a Graduate Highways Engineer that is keen and willing to learn the ropes relatively quickly Ideally, you should hit most of the points below: Fully qualified Civil Engineer Sound knowledge of Traffic Management and Health & Safety practises Demonstrate that you are hardworking, knowledgeable and personable individual that can work in their own initiative but that can also take and follow directions Professional approach and effective role model for the Company’s values and culture.
