We have an exciting opportunity to appoint motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants with experience and a passion for working with young children with SEND.. You will be working in our nursery or reception to include children who without targeted adult support could not manage in a whole class setting. You will work in small groups and 1:1, with children who need your expertise, care, warmth and support, within our fantastic Nursery and Reception teams. We provide a happy, stimulating and exciting environment where each child can thrive. Sessions are well planned and organized in order that every child has the opportunity to explore, investigate and play. Our curriculum planning inspires curiosity and play and follows the current interests of the children. You must be excited to go on this learning journey with the children ! We have a well-established forest school offer and you will be expected to work inside ad outside and at times support this program. Many of our Early Years staff are forest school trained and an enthusiasm for this is desirable. The 1:1 SEN teaching assistant role is responsible for supporting SEN children 1:1 as their key worker.
