Care Home Manager (Nursing)
Lowestoft, Suffolk
Up to £65,000 per year
I am looking for a Registered Manager for an elegant care home situated in a pleasant residential area of south Lowestoft. The home offers nursing, residential and dementia care in a spacious setting. Residents appreciate the homely comfort and proximity to the town centre and sandy beaches.
In this role you will:
• Manage the home to ensure it is delivering high-quality care
• Lead a fantastic team of staff
• Ensure that the care needs of residents are paramount
• Create strong links with the local community
• Ensure good communication and maintain excellent working relationships with all levels of colleagues, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors.
• Actively participate in the growth and development of the Care Service
This role could be for you if you have;
• Previous experience of managing a nursing home
• A good working knowledge, with a proven record of CQC standards and can work towards achieving Outstanding
• Good communication skills and the ability to maintain excellent working relationships at all levels, internal as well as external professionals, families and visitors
• A proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, good or outstanding rated care home
• Enthusiasm and passion for developing high level of person-centred care
• The ability to actively participate in the growth and development of the care service
• NMC registration as a nurse with relevant post-registration experience (desirable but not essential)
