Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Altrincham Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £89 - £99 Per day Job Duties: Supporting teachers in delivering lessons and providing assistance to students Assisting with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment Helping students with individual learning needs or disabilities Preparing and organising educational materials and resources Supervising students during breaks and outdoor activities Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children in an educational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education: Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification Experience: Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is desirable Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of child development and learning processes Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Basic IT skills for using educational software and programmes Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification First Aid certification Working Conditions: Working hours may vary based on school schedules May involve occasional lifting and carrying of educational materials Opportunity for professional development and training All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
