About the Role:
We are seeking a Home Manager with a proven track record of delivering high:quality care, combined with strong business and marketing skills. In this role, you will have the autonomy to lead your home towards an Outstanding CQC rating, guiding a dedicated team while ensuring the home operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire the staff team, promoting a culture of kindness, compassion, and empathy .
* Recruit, train, and motivate a skilled care team committed to person:centred care .
* Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and maintain excellent standards of care.
* Manage the homes budget, ensuring financial targets are met and costs are managed effectively.
* Develop and implement a strategic marketing plan to maintain full occupancy and promote the homes services.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders.
* Oversee administrative tasks to ensure timely, efficient completion of records.
* Continuously evaluate the homes performance, identifying opportunities for improvement .
* Effectively manage risks, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents and staff.
Support Structure:
You will be supported by dedicated external Operations and Central teams, as well as an internal Deputy Manager, Administrator, Hospitality, and Housekeeping teams, all working alongside you to ensure the home runs smoothly and provides exceptional care.
What Were Looking For:
* Previous experience managing a nursing home .
* Strong knowledge of CQC standards with a proven track record of working towards Outstanding ratings .
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster effective relationships with internal teams, residents, families, and external professionals.
* A proven track record in marketing and business within the private care sector, with experience running a commercially successful care home .
* Enthusiasm and passion for delivering high:quality, person:centred care .
* Ability to participate actively in the growth and development of the care service.
Education and Qualifications:
* NMC Registered Nurse with relevant post:registration experience.
