Business Development Manager - Engineering/Water\n\nMidlands & North - £45,000 + Electric Car + Bonus\n\nWe are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of mechanical solutions for water management, flood defence, and environmental services. Due to significant growth and substantial new contracts, they are seeking a BDM/Regional Sales Managers - covering the midlands/north region.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a BDM/Region Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales, and ensuring the company's industry-leading products and services are effectively integrated into client projects. Key responsibilities include:\n\nBuilding and managing long-term relationships with existing and new clients.\nSupporting clients in the design phase to incorporate company solutions.\nNegotiating and defining technical scopes for tenders and proposals.\nCollaborating with internal teams and subcontractors to provide full turnkey solutions.\nDemonstrating a proactive and passionate approach to sales.Key Skills & Experience\n\nA strong sales background in mechanical engineering and/or construction.\nExperience within the water flow control sector is desirable.\nKnowledge of NEC Contracts is beneficial.\nExcellent communication and negotiation skills.\nA technical mindset with an understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering.\nA creative problem-solver with great attention to detail.\nConfident and commercially aware.Qualifications\n\nFormal qualifications in Business or Engineering are desirable but not essential.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leader and play a key role in their continued success.\n\nIf you are a driven and experienced sales professional, we would love to hear from you
