Role Overview:
As a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all domestic gas-related operations within your region, ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of gas services to social housing properties. You will oversee a team of engineers and technicians, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations, maintaining high performance standards, and fostering a customer-focused culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the regional domestic gas team, ensuring all work is carried out efficiently and to the highest standards.
* Oversee the delivery of gas servicing, repairs, installations, and safety checks within social housing properties.
* Ensure full compliance with Gas Safety Regulations, health and safety guidelines, and company policies.
* Monitor and improve team performance, providing support, guidance, and training where necessary.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with housing associations, clients, and stakeholders.
* Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Manage budgets, resources, and performance targets, ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.
* Handle escalated issues and resolve complaints, ensuring excellent customer service.
* Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, KPI achievements, and financial metrics.
* Lead and champion a culture of safety and compliance within the team.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Significant experience in a managerial or supervisory role within the domestic gas industry.
* In-depth knowledge of gas regulations, industry standards, and social housing maintenance requirements.
* Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with tenants, clients, and colleagues.
* Experience managing budgets, resources, and performance targets.
* Proven ability to implement operational improvements and drive efficiency.
* Desirable:
* Experience within the social housing sector or working with housing associations.
* Qualifications in gas engineering (Gas Safe registered).
* Previous experience managing multiple teams or regional operations.
* Additional certifications or qualifications related to health and safety, project management, or leadership
