Overview
Working within a great team environment, you will be responsible for creating and developing new business opportunities, introducing Employment Law and Health & Safety services. Empowering small businesses to concentrate on growing their business.
You’ll be promoting our Employment Law and Health & Safety outsourcing solutions to the SME sector through outbound B2B calling, utilising data on Salesforce from which you can develop new business and create new connections and pipelines.
Your career will start with a fantastic 6-month training, programme, 4 weeks initial training, followed by a tailored career development training at the end of each month. We’re conscious as a Salesperson you’ll be keen to start earning commission, so from week 3 you’ll have the opportunity to start selling.
Daily Responsibilities
1. Scheduling sales opportunities for a Business Development Manager to attend, to meet with business owners/Directors to sell the services.
2. Ensuring quality B2B conversations establish the need for our service.
3. Working to daily targets around call time and appointments booked.
4. Working on maintaining a low cancellation rate.
5. Self-generate new leads, appointments, and referrals through day-to-day new business activity.
6. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
7. Accurately build, manage, and maintain your own sales pipeline.
8. Update salesforce with accurate information.
9. Working on campaign data, targeting industry sectors or specific data lead sources.

Skills we look for in a Sales Consultant:
10. Ideally having some sales experience would be advantageous, within a B2B or B2C outbound position.
11. Confidence in outbound calling through a consultative approach, we don’t use a script, so being able to initiate conversations, ask relevant questions and pick up on leads.
12. Working to targets will be a daily focus, so having that drive and self-awareness is important.
13. We want someone with ambition, whether that’s to earn the most amount of money or develop your future career.
14. Being able to carry your personality across a telephone call is key.
15. You'll be speaking with a wide range of industry sectors, from care homes, gyms, offices, warehouses, the list is endless. So be adaptable on each call to reflect the benefits of our services to each industry sector.
16. There’s a lot to learn, whether you’re experienced in sales or not, so it’s important to have an open approach to learning new sales techniques and the benefits of course Peninsula’s services.
