We are seeking an individual who will deliver new and replacement PLC/HMI installations, including modifications of existing systems, telemetry works, signal testing and commissioning.\n\nWith a commitment to excellence and a dynamic team environment, this role offers the perfect blend of challenge, growth and reward for a Controls Commissioning Engineer looking for a stable position.\n\nControls Commissioning Engineer\n\n£40,000 - £55,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits\n\nRef: 24063 - Greater Midlands Area.\n\nCommissioning Engineer - The Role:\n\nKeep project documentation updated and current\n\nReview software documentation, in particular IO schedules, Functional Design Specifications and test documentation\n\nCarry out Internal Software testing (PLC, HMI & SCADA)\n\nCarry out Client Software testing (PLC, HMI & SCADA)\n\nCarry out MCC testing and configuration (intelligent components)\n\nCommission the software and equipment in accordance with the test documentation\n\nCarry out software (PLC, HMI & SCADA) modifications\n\nCarry out final documentation changes and software handovers, on project completion\n\nBe commercially aware of the project scope and scope of supply\n\nCommissioning Engineer - The Person:\n\nGood electrical experience, be able to read electrical diagrams with qualification\n\nFull Driving licence\n\nA positive and motivated attitude\n\nStrong organisational skills\n\nThe ability to work away from home for short periods of time\n\nPresentation skills and attention to detail\n\nThe ability to plan your own work, use your initiative and meet deadlines\n\nTeam-working ability\n\nReliability and honesty\n\nPosition is based in the Greater Midlands region. Engineers with experience of Control Systems Design, Commissioning or Installation will work from home.
