Your new company is a contractor that has been awarded a prestigious project to build a high-rise steel-frame residential building in South London starting in August 2025. The value of the project is £15m and consists of 50 units and is scheduled for a 24-month program.Your new role is as a Project Manager, acting as the number one on-site, reporting to the board of directors for the organisation. You will have a management team consisting of a site manager and a Quantity Surveyor. You will be responsible for creating and delivering a program of completion with your specialist subcontractors and direct staff. The contract is self-delivery where you would need to forecast and procure materials directly from suppliers and instruct your subcontractors to adhere to call-off orders and achieve their targets.
