Art & Photography Teacher | Requirements:
Qualified teacher of Art and Design, with experience of teaching Photography and the ability to lead the development of Photography within the department.
An understanding of the purpose and use of assessment procedures, and an ability to maintain accurate records to track and support pupil progress.
A commitment to inclusive education and the raising of aspiration and achievement.
Art & Photography Teacher | Role:
Embed creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills in your practice.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and artistic expression.
Lead or support creative clubs, exhibitions, and school-wide projects to enhance students' artistic and technical abilities.
To model high expectations of pupil behaviour and demonstrate a range of strategies for supporting pupils who may be challenging.
The Art and Photography department has excellent facilities, situated in five purpose-built Art rooms, including a 6th Form area and a Photography Studio. As an Art & Photography Teacher at this school, you will make use of two darkrooms, and a kiln room.
