We are seeking a proactive Facilities Management Junior Account Manager. The candidate will have experience in Facilities Management and be looking to take their first steps into an Account Manager's role, initially running small volume contracts but developing their career in a company that is built on a successional plan. The candidate will ensure the smooth delivery of reactive and planned maintenance works, working closely with the helpdesk team and managing contractors within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role will require the Junior Account Manager to maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including the end client.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage small volume facilities management contracts, ensuring service delivery meets contractual obligations and client expectations.
* Coordinate and manage reactive and planned maintenance works, ensuring timely completion within agreed SLAs.
* Work closely with the helpdesk team to allocate and monitor job progress, addressing any issues that arise.
* Coordinate contractors, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and service agreements.
* Maintain consistent and effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
* Monitor contract performance and provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
* Assist in budget management and cost control for assigned contracts, ensuring efficiency and financial performance.
* Identify and implement service improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry best practices at all times.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
* Previous experience in facilities management, account management, or a similar role within the industry.
* Strong understanding of reactive and planned maintenance processes.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and contractors.
* Knowledge of SLAs, KPIs, and contract management principles.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and CAFM systems.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations within the facilities management sector.
Desirable Qualifications:
* IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (desirable but not essential).
* Relevant FM or business management qualification.
* Experience using CAFM software.
