Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving change in academic environments? We’re looking for a Change Management Lead to spearhead the transition to a new student system.
This role is key to ensuring a smooth, structured, and disciplined implementation process while mitigating risks and fostering collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Change Oversight
1. Lead the change management strategy for the student system implementation.
2. Develop and execute a structured approach to managing change within defined timelines.
3. Ensure seamless adoption while minimizing operational disruption.
Readiness & Risk Management
1. Conduct readiness assessments, identifying and addressing potential gaps in high-risk environments.
2. Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure a smooth transition and long-term solution alignment.
3. Develop a 12-month plan for continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
1. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including academic leaders, IT teams, and external partners.
2. Act as the primary liaison between colleges and external partners to evaluate solution readiness.
3. Foster collaboration to align change initiatives with organizational objectives.
4. Manage parallel implementations while ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
5. Support the Continuous Improvement Lead in addressing ongoing system enhancements.
6. Provide strategic insights to optimize system adoption and performance.
Documentation & Reporting
1. Deliver clear and concise reports on project status, readiness assessments, and risk mitigation strategies.
2. Maintain documentation to support decision-making and transition planning.
Qualifications & Skills
1. Proven experience in change management within academic environments.
2. Strong understanding of risk management principles in high-risk implementations.
3. Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
4. Ability to lead complex projects with a disciplined and structured approach.
5. Familiarity with student systems such as Ellucian Banner or Tribal SITS is a strong advantage.
6. Experience managing parallel implementation projects and working with external vendors.
7. Strong focus on academic oversight rather than deep technical expertise.
