Job Title - Production Support Operator
Location – Eastington, Stonehouse
Type of Employment – Permanent, Onsite 5 days a week
Hours – 38 hrs per week Mon – Thurs 7.30am – 4pm. Fri 7.30am- 1.30pm. 30 minutes for lunch

Production Support will be responsible for:
Providing ongoing support to the activities within the facility to ensure production continues with minimal downtime and maximizes profit for the company.
Competence & Qualifications:
The following are desirable, as training will be given:
* Overhead crane operation
* Forklift Operation
* Sand blasting
* Rolling
* Packing and assembling
* Plasma cutting
* First aider
* Fabrication (preferred)

Physical Requirements:
Ability to carry out work tasks that involve physical strength, stamina, standing, kneeling, or crouching. Some lifting/moving required.
Key Duties:
* Blast and finish goods prior to dispatch.
* Plasma profile material, clean and roll to a standard ready for welding.
* Produce standard components (doors, gaskets, rope, furniture) as required.
* Pack goods securely and ensure packaging is clearly marked.
* Load and unload transport as required.
* Assist team leader in loading stations.
* Store goods to protect them in accordance with Quality Instructions.
* Clear workshop rubbish bins daily and maintain cleanliness to 5S standards.
* Prevent pollution, minimize waste, reduce energy usage, and assist the company in achieving its environmental objectives.
* Maintain equipment and work areas for a clean and safe workshop environment.
* Perform duties in accordance with all relevant legislation, particularly the Health and Safety at Work Act, and apply the requirements of BS18001.
* Apply requirements of BS EN ISO 9001 and 14001 as appropriate within areas of responsibility.
* Undertake other duties as reasonably required by the company.
