Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people? We are looking for a dedicated Children’s Residential Support Worker to join a highly supportive team in the Bury area.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people in a residential setting.
Encourage positive behaviors and emotional well-being.
Assist with daily routines, including education, activities, and independent living skills.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to safeguard and promote the welfare of young people.
Maintain accurate records and follow care plans effectively.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential or similar setting is preferred.
A compassionate and resilient approach to working with vulnerable individuals.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
A Level 3 qualification in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards this) is desirable.
A valid UK driver’s license is an advantage but not essential.
