Due to growth with our Connect business we are looking for an exceptional Sales Manager to lead the Sales team on their journey of
continue growth.
Based: Sheffield Office S9 & Field based
Hours: Monday - Friday 9.00 - 17.30
What you’ll be doing:
* Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve and exceed sales targets through measurable KPI’s
* Leading a highly engaged team, understanding their strengths and development opportunities, and supporting personal development
plans
* Work closely with the marketing, pre-sales, commercial manager and customer support teams to ensure alignment on sales
initiatives, product launches, and customer onboarding processes.
* Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports, analysing performance metrics and sales trends to provide actionable insights to
senior management
* Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients and act as a point of escalation.
* Understand and work to mitigate churn and profit dilution against set targets
* Strong understanding of communications and IT products, including cloud services, network solutions, cybersecurity, and telecom
services.
What we’re looking for:
* To have management experience in a similar sized, sales-driven business
* Proven coaching skills, a hands-on management style and a passion for building team confidence and capability
* A track record of identifying commercial opportunities within a team to maximise sales.
* Provision of meaningful reports including KPI reports and customer reports to Sales
* To be confident working in a team, approachable and friendly to colleagues and clients
* To be keen to learn about the latest technology.
