The Youth Service is undergoing an exciting time of development and has a number of opportunities to be part of the team as a Youth Support Worker. You will engage and support young people, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and Care Leavers, in our youth zones and out in the community delivering detached and outreach services.
Current Opportunities
We currently have evening part-time positions:
* x hours per week (Ellesmere Port, Northwich, and Winsford)
* x hours per week (Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, and Winsford)
* x hours per week (Northwich)

Our Services
We deliver a range of groups that young people can attend, including:
* SEND Youth Groups
* LGBTQ+
* Detached
Sessions run in the evening, typically between - pm, across the full week, including Friday nights.
Candidate Requirements
We are not necessarily looking for experience; the right candidate will have a passion for supporting young people, especially those who may be struggling, and the ability to build meaningful professional relationships to inform and educate about making positive changes.
Responsibilities
* Work with a diverse group of young people
* Engage with young people to understand their needs
* Plan activities based on their interests and needs
* Deliver activities in a fun and engaging manner
* Lead sessions in arts, cooking, music, and crafts
* Be aware of the diverse needs of the young people
* Know how to act when a young person is in danger or at risk
