Duties: Coordinate and assess technical drawings for practicality, cost-effectiveness, and compliance, recommending enhancements to improve efficiency. Establish and maintain productive working relationships with consultants to meet project deadlines. Oversee regulatory compliance with Building Regulations, NHBC guidelines, and industry codes, ensuring quality across all development phases. Proactively identify and resolve any design or construction challenges that emerge during the development process. Manage the submission of information required to discharge planning conditions. Organise the build sequence, secure service quotations, and arrange necessary temporary supplies and disconnections in alignment with the project timeline. Compile Operations and Maintenance Manuals and a Health and Safety File for final handover to property management companies or housing associations. Remain updated on industry standards, regulatory changes, and emerging trends to ensure best practices are followed. Skills & Experience: Significant technical expertise within the residential development sector, with experience managing multiple projects concurrently. In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety standards, CDM Regulations, NHBC guidelines, Building Regulations, and planning frameworks. Strong negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively with internal teams, consultants, and contractors. A team player with a collaborative mindset, contributing positively across project teams and departments. Solution-oriented, with a keen eye for efficiency improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
