Key Responsibilities
* Liaise with Supervisors to determine and prioritise workloads
* Preparation of electrical materials & equipment
* Installation/commissioning of non-hazardous and hazardous area electrical equipment
* On-going maintenance, testing, fault finding and repair of existing assets including completion of all associated paperwork
* Co-ordinate with other disciplines to ensure activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner
* Provide progress updates to Supervisor/Team Lead on job status
* Carrying out offsite work/offshore work as required
* Participating in the management of HSE within own area of responsibility
* Delivering quality within own area of responsibility
* Liaising with clients, 3rd party inspectors and surveyors.
Skills & Experience
* Interpretation of electrical drawings
* A well organised individual with an ability to prioritise
* Excellent technical knowledge with proactive approach to problem solving experience
* Good at analysing situations and informing decision-makers of any potential blocks to effective project execution
* Effective team player, ability to work unsupervised and good communication skills
* Calm under pressure and effective in meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
* Experience from the oil and gas industry, preferable but not essential
* Fully qualified Electrician through supporting body e.g: SQA, City & Guilds
* CompEx certified or country equivalent
* IEE Wiring Regulations or country equivalent.
