Dimensions:
* Professional working relationships with: Advanced Practitioners, Multi-disciplinary team, Head of Quality & Compliance, Quality Improvement Manager, Investigations & Compliance Manager.
* Practice supervision of frontline staff working to deliver the clinical programme in line with the supervision framework and organisational standards.
* There are no budgetary requirements of this role.

1. Growth: Support the Registered Manager on local projects, innovations, and modernisation within the services.
2. Financial: Ensure all service delivery is provided using economical consideration. Demonstrate value for money and make recommendations for expenditure.
3. Quality: Ensure service delivery complies with relevant legislative requirements and adheres to systems that ensure qualitative outcomes for service users. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory service delivery requirements and operate services in accordance with relevant legislation. Adhere to systems to meet all information requirements and comply with the AFG Performance Management Framework. Respond to analysed data from the Performance Management Framework identifying potential risks and take appropriate action to ensure compliance.
People:
* Work effectively with the Registered Manager to deliver a culture based on the principles of PSI/PCP.
* Provide effective leadership and clear direction to Support staff, including Ancillary staff.
* Act as the Named Nurse for a designated number of service users.
* Compile reports and presentations as required.
* Promote and encourage the application of Best Practice in the service area.
* Support staff and service delivery by leading, motivating, and challenging inappropriate practice.
* Ensure that service delivery remains fit for purpose.
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety legislation and operate services that promote the safeguarding of adults and children where relevant.
* Uphold and promote equality and diversity in employment processes.
Responsibilities common to all AFG Nurses:
* Take responsibility for operational service delivery in the absence of the Manager and Deputy.

Infection Control: All employees are required to be familiar with and comply with infection prevention and control policies relevant to their area of work.
Health & Safety: You have a legal responsibility not to endanger yourself, your fellow employees, and others by your individual acts or omissions. The post holder is required to comply with the requirements of any policy or procedure issued in respect of minimising the risk of injury or disease. All accidents must be reported to your Line Manager and in line with the general philosophy of the organisation.
