Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: HMP Albany (IOW), Albany, 55 Parkhurst Rd, Newport PO30 5RS
Salary: £39,921.92 per annum
Contract: Permanent, full time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
We are seeking a dedicated Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team at HMP Albany (IOW), a category B adult prison.

Minimum Requirements:
1. Two years experience working in a role as a heating engineer, a combustion engineer or equivalent
2. Must be familiar with and able to work to Water Supply Regulation and Control of Legionella L8 requirements
3. Must be familiar with and able to work to Gas safe (installation and use) regulations 1998 and associated industry Standards
4. Experience of working with commercial catering gas appliances would be beneficial
5. C&G 6035 (Plumbing), C&G 6189 (Plumbing and heating) and NVQ level 3 in Plumbing
6. CCN1 - Core domestic gas safety and relevant domestic appliance units
7. COCN1 - Core commercial gas safety certificate and relevant commercial units
8. Good Health & Safety knowledge
9. Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
