In this role, you will help build our distinctive employee relations practice that fosters a positive employee experience, aligned with the University's culture of trust and care. This ensures the delivery of our Employee Value Proposition to all staff.
You will provide specialist advice, develop and review employee relations policies, procedures, and guidance, and deliver training for line managers to equip them with the knowledge and skills to manage employees positively, respectfully, and effectively. This includes applying the University’s Resolution Framework and Support & Report Portal, developed in partnership with the TCM Group, which was recognized with an award at the 2024 Business Culture Awards. This innovative approach enables positive resolution-focused interventions to influence future behavior and enhance our culture and employee experience.

To succeed, you need a strong, up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Resilience and a drive for continuous innovation and improvement are essential.
