As a result of its strategic expansion, this newly-created role has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join its hugely successful team. Our client operates in over 20 countries and is renowned as a world-leader within its chosen markets, arranging insurance for some of the most fascinating risks on the planet, with a reputation for excellence, innovation, and formidable customer service.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage broker partnerships, overseeing account plans, building pipelines, and driving growth.
2. Seek new partner Network member brokers while managing existing relationships.
3. Collaborate with Network business development teams and internal business areas.
4. Conduct regular development meetings (face-to-face and virtual), attend networking events and conferences.
5. Promote market-leading specialist insurance products across various lines, including Financial Lines, Tech, Construction, Care & Charities.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Commercial insurance knowledge (any product background considered).
2. Previous experience in a Business Development role within the insurance industry.
3. Motivated, engaging, and passionate about business development.
Whilst this role will be predominantly home-based, you can report into either our client’s Leeds, Manchester, or Birmingham office. Given the nature of your insurance broker panel, there is not a huge amount of travelling with this role; typically, you’ll be ‘on the road’ a couple of days a week.
