What you'll be doing:
As our Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting across the Group and its subsidiaries. You will oversee financial reporting processes, support senior management with financial analysis, and ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards and AIM regulations.
In addition, you’ll:
* Prepare the Group consolidation including oversight for the Group company monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
* Coordinate the external audit process and assist in the preparation of year-end and half-year Group financial statements and subsidiary accounts
* Prepare budgets for the Group company only and for technical areas of accounting including share-based payments, leases and dilapidations
* Collaborate with external advisors on the Group and subsidiary tax computations and manage R&D development costs and tax-related filings
* Manage the Group share option schemes including regulatory filings
* Support the payroll process through journals and balance sheet reconciliations
* Drive the integration of newly acquired entities into the financial reporting process
* Work closely with the Company Secretary on regulatory reporting and governance matters

* Are a qualified accountant with post-qualified experience
* Possess a strong combination of technical expertise and communication skills
* Have an in-depth understanding of IFRS
* Have knowledge of statutory reporting requirements
* Have experience working in a listed business
